UK based H2020 project partners still need to plan for a BREXIT deal or no deal. Ceratium have been following the developments .....or lack of them closely.

In July 2018, the UK Government announced any funding secured through EU programmes (including H2020 and Erasmus+) until the end of 2020, will be guaranteed by the UK government even in a no deal scenario. This is good news but the terms under which UK organisations could be eligible for post-Brexit participation are still to be agreed. A no-deal Brexit could affect project eligibility as the UK moves to "third country" status.
Now weeks after the March 29th deadline the UK’s position remains unclear. The EU have agreed to extend the deadline for the UK to leave the EU until Halloween 2019, but if an agreement can be reached before this October deadline the UK could leave more quickly. This situation understandably leaves the business and academic communities feeling uncertain. The UK Governments funding guarantees do at least provide some confidence that UK partners should continue to participate in the current programmes.
