On 24th June, the TIGER project held its first workshop at the European Cancer Patient's Coalition Annual congress in Brussels, on 'The role of Biomarkers in personalised Medicine'.
This well organised and well attended event was part of the TIGER projects aims to identify knowledge gaps and new opportunities for cancer biomarkers to a new roadmap and strategy for cancer biomarkers. Presentations from the TIGER project were joined by a keynote speaker, leading cancer biomarker research Dr Nicola Normanno, making up the expert panel.
